Shoppers who love shopping small and buying vintage and handmade items can get a jump on their holiday lists at the Hobnob Holiday Market – a unique pop-up shopping event – on November 17-18 at the Thelma Keller Convention Center in Effingham.

Handpicked vendors from all over the Midwest will be bringing their best vintage finds and wonderful handmade goods to the market. Boutique clothing, holiday treats and fresh seasonal naturals like evergreen swags and birch branches will also be among the mix of goods.

Farmhouse, industrial, shabby and primitive style vintage finds will be for sale, along with creative handmade goods, including jewelry and accessories, children’s gifts and Instagram-worthy home décor.

Marketgoers will love the vendor spaces reminiscent of brick and mortars down to the creative signage, original packaging and Pinterest style displays.

While at The Hobnob you can enjoy delicious food, a cash bar with holiday cocktails and even visit with Santa. Hobnob porters will be on hand to help carry and load oversized/heavy purchases.

Friday’s hours are 4-9 p.m. Enjoy first-dibs on one-of-a-kind items during the early bird shopping hours.

Tickets are $10 per person in advance and $14 per person at the door. Advance tickets are available on Facebook or at

The market will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is $5 per person at the door or free with a Friday night ticket.
