The Effingham Art Guild is making plans for its 19th annual Children’s Art Show.

The show will be held March 15-17 at the Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library.

The Children’s Art Show is open to all students, not just art students. There are no entry fees charged, but there is a limit of two entries per student.

Please send only original art work; no photography. Due to the space available, size is limited to 48 inches.

Each grade will be judged separately with a Best of Show by grade division.

Artwork needs to be dropped off at the library on Wednesday, March 14 between 3-5 p.m. Judging will be done Thursday morning.

Artwork must be picked up promptly at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 17, after the reception. We are no responsible for unclaimed artwork.

The show schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, March 14 – deliver artwork from 3-5 p.m. to the library

Thursday, March 15 – show open to the public from noon to 8 p.m.

Friday, March 16 – show open to the public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday, March 17 – show open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; reception from 2-3 p.m. Awards announced at 2:30 p.m. Artwork picked up after the reception.
