Floyd E. Weber, 88, of Louisville, passed away on Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Effingham.
Funeral services were held at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Clay City at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 17. Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, at the funeral home. Visitation was in Ingraham Cemetery.

Floyd was born August 26, 1928, in Richland County, the son of Albert and Irene (Stark) Weber. He married Leona Ruth Bateman on April 1, 1956, in Louisville.
Floyd was a life-long farmer. He served as Bible Grove Township Supervisor for two terms and was an FSA County Committee member for many years. Additionally, he was a 4-H leader. He enjoyed country music, watching RFD, raising livestock and deer hunting.
Floyd was a social person and took pleasure in meeting new people. He loved spending time with his family and his beloved dog, Jackie. He was a member of the Headyville Christian Church.
Floyd is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth, of Louisville; sons, Larry (wife, Dena), of Effingham; Jerry (wife, Louise), of Teutopolis; and Dale (wife, Dena), of Louisville; daughter, Mary (husband, Joseph) Cardascio, of Decatur; grandchildren, Michael Weber, Kraig Weber, Keith Weber, Rachel Weber, Benjamin Deaton, Bryce Weber, Brandon Weber, Alexander Cardascio and Abigail Cardascio; and brother, Ralph Weber.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ivan Weber.
