Lisa Gayle Adams, 53, of Louisville, passed away after enduring a long illness on September 18, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Visitation for family and friends was conducted from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Kull Funeral Chapel in Altamont. Burial Services will be conducted in the early spring of 2017 along the Kaskaskia River, according to her wishes of cremation.

Lisa was born May 10, 1963, in St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham. She was one of seven siblings in the Catholic family of Lawrence Andrew and Marita Marie Swingler-Tegenkamp.
Lisa worked numerous jobs in her life including waitress, bar tender, general labor and last working at the Cambridge Auto Parts Company in Centralia until she was forced to retire by illness and disability.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Zachary David (wife, Clarissa) Tegenkamp, of Louisville; and Brandon Lee (fiancé, Cayla Higgins) Adcock, of Effingham; 2 daughters, Amanda Kathleen (fiancé, Wesley Powell) Tegenkamp, of Paducah, Kentucky; and Destiny Dakota (fiancé, Jared Wimberly) Miller, of Effingham; brother, Richard (wife, Joyce) Tegenkamp, of Teutopolis; sisters, Sharon Stoldt, of Altamont; Sandra (husband, Jerry) Kreke, of Heartville; Deborah (husband, William) Miller, of Funkhouser; Carla (husband, John) Miller, of Funkhouser; and Victoria Miller, of Altamont; brother-in-law, Billy Warner, of St. Elmo; grandchildren, Christian Painter, Xavier and Vincent Tegenkamp, Leighton Dial, Erica Morlan, Brayden Adcock, Jace and Jadyn Gewe and Nevaeh Arnold; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Laurie Warner.
